1. Acceptance of Terms

By using ShiftCore, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Use of Service

ShiftCore is a personal organisation tool for FIFO workers. You may use it to track your roster, pay cycle, expiries, bills, vault documents, and isolation tracking sessions. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into ShiftCore, including documents, expiry records, financial information, and isolation tracking sessions. We do not claim any rights to your content.

4. Isotrac — Personal Organisation, Not a Certified Isolation Device

The isolation tracking feature (Isotrac) is a personal reminder layer that helps you remember to lock on, lock off, and not leave site with your personal isolation lock still on equipment. It is not a certified lockout / tagout device, an electrical isolation control measure, or a substitute for any site safety procedure or company isolation system.

You must continue to follow all site safety requirements, your employer's isolation procedures, and any applicable regulations. Isotrac does not replace, override, or downgrade any of these obligations. The off-site alarm is a backup, not a primary isolation control.

5. Disclaimer of Reliance

ShiftCore is provided as a personal organisation aid. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, you should always independently verify critical dates such as certification expiries and bill due dates, and you should always physically verify that your isolation lock has been removed before leaving site. ShiftCore is not a substitute for official record-keeping by your employer or certification body.

6. Push Notifications and Alarms

Reminder notifications and the off-site alarm are provided as a convenience and may be delayed, suppressed, or missed due to device settings, operating system behaviour, network conditions, or hardware faults. Do not rely solely on the app for critical safety actions.

7. Subscriptions

Some features of ShiftCore may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed and managed through the relevant app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). You can cancel a subscription at any time via the app store, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal information will be removed or de-identified within 90 days, in line with the Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or use the app to harm other users or the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShiftCore is provided "as is" and we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding fitness for purpose, availability, or accuracy. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the app, including any disciplinary action, isolation breach, or workplace consequence that may result from a missed reminder or failed alarm. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be limited or excluded.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Western Australia.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of ShiftCore after material changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
